During February vacation week there will be movies for kids at the Epping library each afternoon at 1:00. Thursday afternoon’s Preschool Storyhour will take this week off but will return March 8th. Please check the website at eppinglibrary.com for the movie schedule or pick one up at the library. All children must be accompanied by a responsible big person.
March’s Pajama Night will be a celebration of the amazing Dr. Seuss. Beginning at 6:30 on Friday, March 9th children ages 3-8 and their families are invited to wear their PJs to the library for colorful crafts and a scavenger hunt full of rhymes and Seusstastic characters. Participants are asked to bring a snack to share, so everyone finds something they like at the snack table. The evening will wind down around 7:45, after a couple of silly songs and one or two classic Seuss read-alouds.
Coming Thursday evening, March 15th expert Charles B. Doleac presents a NH Humanities program about the Peace Treaty negotiations between the Russian and Japanese delegations held in Portsmouth that earned Teddy Roosevelt the Nobel Peace Prize in 1906.
Epping’s public library is open Monday – Friday from 10 am to 8 pm and Saturday 10 to 2. For more information call 679-5944, or visit www.eppinglibrary.com.
