On March 13 at 7 pm, Relay For Life of Exeter/Epping will be hosting a participant meeting at The Exeter Inn, located at 90 Front Street, Exeter. This meeting is open to participants and anyone interested in learning more about Relay For Life. This is a great opportunity to meet current participants and ask any questions in regards to the event.

Relay For Life is an American Cancer Society event which provides communities the chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. Relay participants share the American Cancer Society’s vision of creating a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

At Relay, teams of people camp out at a local school, and take turns walking or running around a track. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events. Teams do most of their fundraising prior to the event, but some teams also hold creative fundraisers at their camp sites during Relay.

Mark your calendar for the 2013 Relay For Life of Exeter/Epping scheduled for June 22-23 at Sanborn Regional High School.
