Epping selectman laid to rest after losing battle with cancer

EPPING — James “Jim” McGeogh didn’t let cancer keep him from serving the community he loved. In the last six months of his life, he turned out for selectmen’s meetings with an IV pole in tow. “He was the toughest man I ever knew,” his colleague and board chairman Tom Gauthier said.His community said goodbye to him Wednesday with a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church in Epping.
