Aspiring artists take note, this month’s crafter’s workshop will be at 2:00 on Saturday, February 23rd and will feature simple watercolor painting. Donna Camara has returned to Epping and will lead participants in creating a lovely 8”x10” painting of white birch trees. Neverland Pajama Night has been rescheduled for Friday, February 22nd. Families with children ages 2-8 are invited to wear their PJs for Peter Pan and Tinkerbell crafts, a scavenger hunt through the familiar scenes of ‘Neverland’ and songs and stories with Miss Tracie at the end of the evening. As with all Pajama Nights, guests are asked to bring something for the snack table whether it’s an easy bag of something crunchy, a plate of fruit or homemade sweets, so everyone will find something they like.


During the week of February vacation the library will offer free movies on the big screen at 1:00 each afternoon. Children must be accompanied by a responsible big person. Check the library website for the schedule as it becomes available.


Plans are in the works for a Teen Volunteer Lock In on Friday evening, March 1st. Beginning at 7:00 pm, teens who have volunteered or are interested in volunteering during the summer reading program are invited to come to the library for movies, pizza, friendship and brainstorming activities to start planning the summer of 2013. When the library closes to the public at 8:00 the teens and their adult chaperones will ‘own’ the library until pick -up time at 11:00 pm.
