Epping High School hands out awards for spring sports

Epping High School’s Mike MacLeay, Samantha Arsenault and Ben Mylott received top honors at Wednesday’s Spring Sports Banquet.

MacLeay received the MVP award as a member of the school’s track and field team, Arsenault was named MVP of the softball team, and Mylott received the On Base Percentage Award for his at-bat performance (.470) on the baseball team. Tara Martel earned the Most Improved Award in track, and teammate Brendan O’Day received a Coach’s Award.

Lauren Haley, Lisa Demaine and Hannah Kimball also received awards for their play on the softball field. Haley received Rookie of the Year honors; Demaine, the Coach’s Award; and Kimball, the High Batter Award.

Alex Osgood received Rookie of the Year honors in baseball, and his teammate, Ryan Haladay, received the Most Improved Player Award.
