“Obnoxiously Loud” Gunfire Irks Residents

The SigSauer Academy, located off of Rte 27 in Epping, has been drawing the ire of some nearby residents who are complaining about the noise and frequency of the gunfire at the site, which is a training site for users ranging from “law enforcement officers and military personnel to security workers and private citizens.”
The Academy recently received approval from the town Planning Board to increase their hours of operation, with the contingency that they add more sound barriers to prevent the increased noise that will accompany the expanded operating hours.
