LaBarre Lawyers Drop Blood Spatter Challenge

Attorneys for a woman charged with killing her boyfriend at her Epping farm withdrew their motion Wednesday to challenge blood spatter evidence.

Sheila LaBarre’s attorneys were expected to challenge the evidence, but on short notice, they withdrew their motion. Investigators said that the blood spatter was found on a wall ripped out of LaBarre’s house.

Prosecutors intend to use the evidence and expert testimony to prove that LaBarre killed Kenneth Countie.

“After analyzing their evidence, we found that the actual sciences used were sound,” defense attorney Brad Bailey said.
