Downtown Plan Restarted

One week after the board of selectmen halted the Core2 downtown revitalization project, they voted last night to restart it.The board’s move came after hearing a detailed description about the progress of the project from Rob Graham, chairman of the planning board.
Graham and town counsel John Ratigan gave a one-hour presentation clarifying several issues that were raised by the board last week.
The board halted construction due to questions about the initial approval of the project and possible environmental violations. Concerns were also raised about its source of funding.
