Crafter’s Night tries again! The paper folding project lead by local crafter Dona Camara may have been postponed due to the last Wednesday snowstorm but it has not been forgotten. If you are interested in joining this class to make special greeting cards or frame-worthy art, please call the library for the rescheduled date and to register.

Friday the 13th is a lucky day for Epping families because it’s time for another Pajama Night at the library. Since it’s now finally summer in Australia, it’s a “G’Day” for a Beach Party! Along with summery crafts and a new scavenger hunt we will take time to recognize the top readers from last summer’s reading program. Pajama Night goes from 6:30 to 7:45. Participants are encouraged to bring a snack to share and wear either summery PJs or brightly colored beach togs.

February School Vacation week is coming up, and that means our Vacation Movie Series. From Feb 23rd to the 27th each afternoon at 1:00, the library will show a kid’s movie newly released on DVD. Thursday afternoon’s Preschool Storyhour will be cancelled during this week to allow for the movie. Feel free to call for movie titles.

Thursday, February 26th is Dessert and a Movie – a free night out for adults. We will show a newly released DVD on the big screen with stereo surround beginning at 7:45. Have a movie you’d like to suggest? Call us and let us know!

February’s Toy Play Day is a Teddy Bear Picnic. On Saturday, Feb. 28th from 11 to 1, bring your favorite Teddy Bear and a picnic lunch for crafts, stories and fun with friends.

The library is open Monday through Friday from 10 to 8 and Saturday from 10 to 2. Call 679-5944 for more information.
