Citizens Discuss Downtown Revitalization

Speak Up, Epping’s Downtown Revitalization Committee met Wednesday night at Harvey-Mitchell Memorial Library. The nine members discussed goals and objectives in relationship to the scope of the organization.

“It is very interesting that so many boards and groups in the town of Epping are all considering ways to improve the downtown, the Historical Commission, the selectmen, the zoning and planning boards,” said Jane Burley, the committee’s chairwoman.

Three goals identified for the Downtown Revitalization Committee are: promote safety, enhance the appearance of downtown area, and encourage economic vitality.
